UPDATE: THE DOGS IN BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA ARE SAFE!

Yesterday was an incredibly busy day for the rescuers who rounded up the survivors of a peaceful group of street dogs who had been attacked by the trained fighting dogs of drug dealers. The strays had been doing their best on the street, and were receiving food and mange treatment by a group called Marianne’s Food Bank https://www.facebook.com/groups/366871233352351/. But after the deliberate attacks four dogs were killed. Many of you made donations to help keep the survivors safe and those have already been sent over for the care of the dogs.

“These dogs are now at safe place in two different pension,” Arijana Arifovic writes. “Six puppies are at one pension and 4 adult dogs are at Dawn’s Nest2. Thanks to you this dogs have a future now and they are safe. The bastards cant hurt them any more.”

“We had a long day today but everything is worth it, and if you ask me what is happiness I will tell you THIS is happiness,” Arijana continues. “They will not be on street, just one more we need to catch and move to pension and that dog is a girl who has blood on her neck. Thank you from all my heart. And I need to thank to Harmony, thank you…….Bless you….this dogs are my life, some of them I feed almost 2 year now, thank you, thank you.”
