Adalardo Starting On The Road To Recovery

Hi, I am Adalardo, a young boy of 3 years. If you havent met me, you will find my original story here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.689250431116695.1073742796.108625789179165&type=3

I came to the shelter after a nice tourist called Soi Dog. She had seen me near a beach restaurant and noticed that I was always scratching myself and I was covered in scabs, with a lot of my fur missing. Animal Rescue Officer Khun Thep came to collect me and brought me to Soi Dog.

The vets here took a skin scraping from me, so they could see what was causing my itching. They found out that I was suffering from a very bad case of mange. They started me on some medicine and also gave me some food supplements to speed up my recovery.

I will need to be treated for quite some time as my mange was very advanced by the time I was found. The vets are happy that I dont have any other problems though and I am glad they are looking after me because now the itching is not so bad and I am getting a bit better every day. I hope that soon I will be back to being the handsome young man I once was.

Im not so keen on the other patients in here but I do love the people. I especially love the Emergency Response Team because its thanks to them I am here. You can join the team today and help other dogs like me get the treatment they need. Please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
