Maril�s Suffering Is Easing As She Begins To Slowly Recover

I came to Soi Dog from the south of Phuket, where I was found with a lot of problems. I was suffering from mange, a fungal skin infection, anaemia, eye discharge, overgrown nails and I was covered in ticks. Everyone could see the suffering when they looked into my eyes.

The vets at Soi Dog immediately started me on lots of different medicines to make me feel better as quickly as possible. I was still hungry and drinking water so this helped in my recovery. I am slowly improving but I have a very long journey ahead of me. You can see here that despite everything I am suffering from, I will one day be a very beautiful dog. Gradually, the suffering is less visible in my eyes.

Thanks to the Emergency Response Team, the vets could give me the treatment I needed. Without their support, I would have been left untreated and everything would have gotten so much worse for me.
