Goose Begins To Recover From Road Traffic Accident

Hi, my name is Goose. If you didnt read my previous story, you can do so by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.682567888451616.1073742757.108625789179165&type=3

I am only a young boy at only 15 weeks old, so I have had a pretty rough start. I came to the Soi Dog clinic after I was found in the middle of the road having been hit by a car. When I arrived at the clinic, I had to have an operation as my tummy was very swollen. The vets said I most likely hurt my bladder. I have had to take lots of medicine and get a lot of rest, but I am starting to feel a bit better.

I also hurt my legs and hips in the accident. I am able to walk a little bit but one of my legs is not working very well. I can stand on it, but when I try to walk I drag it behind me. I hope with more test this leg will get better.

Despite my health problems, I am a happy boy and am enjoying the pampering I am getting in the clinic. I especially enjoy mealtimes. The meals here are very tasty, but what I like most is when I get given a boiled egg to eat. Eggs are so yummy. I am getting eggs as a special treat as I need to build up my strength to get better as quickly as possible.

The vets have told me to be a good boy and say thank you to the members of the Emergency Response Team for helping me. I am told these people provide much needed funds to help dogs like me who need urgent help. Who knows what would have happened to me if there were not kind people who wanted to help. If you would also like to help dogs like me, you can join the Emergency Response Team today by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
