Another Young Pup Comes To Clinic After Road Accident

Phukets roads can be a dangerous place for the street dog population on the island. Another dog recently came to the clinic after becoming the victim of a road accident. Ting is only six months old and was recently hit on the main highway that runs down the middle of Phuket.

When Ting arrived at the clinic, she had a swollen back leg and was unable to put any weight on it. X-rays were performed and it was found that Ting was suffering from fractures near her hip and in her upper leg.

Ting is currently being given anti-inflammatories and pain killers and is being kept quiet to ensure she gets as much rest as possible. The vets are hoping that with this course of treatment, Ting will avoid surgery, however time will tell.

Only with your help can Soi Dog give dogs like Ting the medical care they need and a hope at recovery. You can help Ting and many dogs like her by becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team. Please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html and join today.
