Suspected Dog Napper Caught

Yesterday a 58 year old man driving a motorbike/side car was arrested by police in Thailands Nongkai district. The bike owner confessed that almost every day he collected dogs.

The dogs were to be sent to Ban Kang, Laos for butchering and then sold to Vietnamese buyers.

The Department of Livestock Development was called and the dogs are in their care.

One of the dogs had recently given birth and we can only imagine the fate of her newborn puppies.
