Cats As Office Co-Workers?

This can be a good idea, provided the shops keep the cats as forever-pets, of course. People do spend a lot of time in their workplace these days and many, many cats are looking for homes, so this could be a good idea. I’d say more as office-pets and not interns per se.
I think the benefits are many:
1. Workplace people have pets as companions. Good for destressing.
2. These animals get adopted as office pets. At least they have a home of sorts.
3. Most importantly: When shoppers/visitors get used to the idea of animals being in shops (why, as “employees” of the shop/office), it gradually drives home the message that pets are a part of our lives and we can live harmoniously and happily WITH them around us.
