Updates On 6th Apr 2014

This week we said goodbye to our wonderful, long term volunteers Izzy and Zat from the UK. Izzy and Zat have been involved with Soi Dog for many years and have made several trips to Phuket to volunteer at Soi Dog Foundation and to accompany dogs from the shelter back to their new homes in the UK. Izzy and Zat left on Thursday to accompany Bastie, Bobby, Koda, Linus, Punk and Yai to their new homes.

When in the UK, Izzy and Zat run the Soi Dog Merchandise Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Soi-Dog-Merchandise/239459422865590) which keeps them busy sending merchandise all over the world. This year, Izzy and Zat are also organising a global fundraiser called Challenge the World (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Soi-Dog-Challenge-The-World-2014/161398244053062), encouraging Soi Dog Supporters to fundraise for the new hospital being planned for the Phuket shelter.

Izzy and Zat were presented with a special certificate when they said goodbye to recognise everything they do to help the dogs and cats of Thailand. Thanks for everything you do for Soi Dog Foundation, Izzy and Zat and it was great to see you here again at the shelter.

The organisation is dedicated to implementing effective, sustainable solutions that reduce the suffering of dogs and cats in Asia, runs entirely on donations and works efficiently so all donations are used to help animals as effectively as possible.
