ACRES is proud to announce our collaboration with The Green Room Cafe at Bishan Park. In conjunction with the upcoming Vesak Day, $2 will be donated for every Special Vesak Day Set Course sold. You will stand to receive a $20 promotional dining voucher when you flash this poster and purchase the Set Course meal.

Concurrently, The Green Room Cafe will be running a campaign entitled “Let’s have a compassionate Vesak Day!” from the 14th of April to the 16th of May 2014. This is to raise awareness about the symbolic release of animals which often takes place during this day, and the detrimental effects it has on our ecosystem and the animals themselves.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
