Frost Comes To The Shelter With Serious Cat Fight Injuries
Tweet |
Frost, a fluffy three year old male cat, was recently brought to the shelter by animal rescue officer Khun Thep. He was found at a local football oval and it was clear he had gotten into a serious cat fight based on the extent of his injuries.
Frost has bite wounds on his body and a particularly serious wound under his tail. Frost was not sterilised when he entered the shelter, which highlights the seriousness of male cats not being castrated. With raging hormones and being very territorial, male cats are prone to getting into serious fights with other males and the results can often be catastrophic.
Frost has now been sterilised and has had his wounds cleaned. He has been given a very strong antibiotic to fight infection and is also on painkillers to help him rest. The vets are keeping a very close eye on him as he is not out of danger yet and will be checking his condition daily.
