Gutsy Princess Goes For A Walk

It was during Chinese New Year that Connie’s 17 year-old dog, Princess, was admitted to the clinic in a critical state. Princess’ kidneys had failed and she was on drips for about 2 weeks. Her kidney readings improved slightly, she was discharged and brought home even though she had no more kidney function. Connie continued to give her subcut fluids every day.

Princess’ kidney readings went up again recently and according to the readings, her kidneys aren’t functioning at all, but Princess lives life to the fullest. Although she eats little, she enjoys her Gardenia bread (her favourite food) and hangs out with her family of doggies and humans.

Here’s Connie’s little son taking Princess for a walk!
