Young Pup Comes To Clinic With Swollen Belly After Road Accident

Young Goose, who is only 14 weeks old, was recently brought to the clinic by a lovely local named Khun Somdet after being found in the middle of the road soon after being hit by a car.

When the vets examined Goose they determined that he was suffering from pain in his back legs, a hip fracture and has a swollen belly, possibly due to a bladder rupture. Goose has now had surgery to correct the bladder rupture and is being closely monitored as there is still some sign of belly swelling.

Goose is also being kept on antibiotics and painkillers and is being kept very quiet to help with his injured legs and hip. Goose is by no way out of the woods as yet with his bladder problems and the vets will continue to keep a close eye on him and we will update you on his progress in the coming days.
