Cooper Continues His Treatment After A Road Traffic Accident

Hi, my name is Cooper. I was recently picked up after being hit by a car. You can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.678595915515480.1073742729.108625789179165&type=1

I am being looked after well at Soi Dog after I broke my leg in the car accident. I have had to have a cast put on my leg, so I haven’t been able to walk and have been resting like the vets told me to. I have also got some wounds on my hips, so have been taking antibiotics to stop them getting infected.

I had an appointment with Dr Sai the other day and she changed my cast. I had a go at using my leg while the cast was off and it’s not recovered enough to start walking on, so I guess I will have to keep resting. I hope I can get back to normal soon as I am getting a bit bored with resting!

Dr Sai has now starting treating me for the fungal infection on my skin, so hopefully the itchiness will go away soon as it is driving me a little bit crazy.

I am so happy that I am being helped by the vets and carers at Soi Dog and I’d really like to say thanks to the members of the Emergency Response Team for also helping me. Dr Sai said that without their help the vets and carers would not be able to help dogs like me get the care they need. If you would like to help me and many other dogs and cats like me who have no one else to turn to, please join the Emergency Response Team today at https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
