Dog Collected For Sterilisation Requires Further Vet Treatment
Tweet |
Chella was collected recently by animal rescue officer Khun Sanae for a routine sterilisation, however the vets at the mobile sterilisation clinic decided he was too thin to be sterilised and sent him to the clinic at the shelter for further veterinary treatment.
Upon examination at the shelter clinic, Chella was found to be very emaciated and dehydrated. When offered food, Chella refused to eat which was of great concern to the vets. He was immediately given fluids to treat his dehydration and wormed in case this is the case of him being so underweight and clearly unwell.
Chella is far from out of danger. He needs to start drinking on his own and he needs to eat. Unless he starts to both eat and drink, his life will be in serious danger. We will keep you updated on his progress.
