Riptide Comes To The Clinic With A Mysterious Leg Wound
Tweet |
Riptide was picked up recently by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon for a leg wound, the cause of which cannot be explained.
Once Riptide arrived at the shelter, vets treated his wound, located on his inner left thigh, with anti-inflammatories, pain killers and antibiotics. It was noticed by Dr Sai that Riptide was unable to put any weight on his back right leg. Riptide has been sent for x-rays, which have showed a fracture at the top of his leg bone, which will require surgery.
We will update you on how Riptide progresses after his surgery and we are hoping he will be able to walk normally again.
It is only because of members of the Emergency Response Team that dogs like Riptide can be collected and brought to the shelter for immediate treatment.
