Marmite Settles Happily Into Her New Home

Last week we brought you the story of Marmites adoption, the puppy who was found at only six weeks of age, who had gone to her new home in Bangkok. If you would like to read Marmites original story, you can do so by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.657217440986661.1073742609.108625789179165&type=3

Marmites new owner Trisha has been kind enough to send us some photos of Marmite and let us know how she is doing. Trisha says Marmite is doing remarkably well!! Within about five minutes of coming out of her flight crate, she was eating, running around sniffing everything, playing with toys and begging for love and attention from just about everyone! She warmed up immediately to our other dog, BBs and the cat, Havana. We’ve renamed her Maanee which means come here in Thai and she responds well to her name and comes when she is called. She is also learning to potty outside. A few accidents so far, but BBs is teaching her the ropes. Honestly, there is not a trace of shyness or fear is this little girl. She has already blossomed into a silly, spunky little clown! She knows just how to be absolutely adorable!

Thank you so much Trisha for providing Marmite with a loving and safe home. She must think she is in heaven. If you would also like to adopt a dog (or a cat) from Soi Dog its pretty easy. All you need to do is visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/ to find out more and if you would like to adopt one of our rescued dogs and cats, please contact paula@soidog.org
