Winona Has Now Recovered And Makes New Friends In The B1 Run

Hi, my name is Winona. Its been a while since I came to say hello, so if you need to refresh your memory, you can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.658429574198781.1073742617.108625789179165&type=3

I was picked up almost two months ago at nearby Nai Yang Beach in an awful condition. I had lots of wounds on my body and a really high temperature. I was in a lot of pain and really scared out on the street by myself. Lucky for me, animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon found me when he was out on patrol and brought me back to the clinic for the vets to look after me. The vets were worried I had a blood infection, but they gave me medicine and I was feeling better not too long after that. They also treated my wounds and cleaned them every day and they are pretty much healed now. I was also very skinny when I arrived. I have put on a little bit of weight, but still need to put some more on.

I had a very exciting day recently when I was told I could leave the treatment runs and go to one of the main runs with all the other healthy dogs. I was so excited. While I am grateful for all the vets have done for me, I am happy I dont need to see them every day anymore. I have now been moved to the B1 run and am starting to make some new friends. I also met my new carer Khun Mee when I arrived and she is really nice. She has promised to take very good care of me.

I really do like it here at Soi Dog, but I would one day really like a home and a family to call my own. Perhaps you might like me to be a member of your family? If you would like to give me a home please visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-costs/ to find out more about adopting a dog from Thailand. If you decide you would like me to join your family and want to start organising to bring me to your home, please email the adoptions coordinator at paula@soidog.org
