Viennetta Is Well On The Road To Recovery

Hello, my name is Viennetta. If you missed my original story, you can read it by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.663172343724504.1073742643.108625789179165&type=1

I was first brought into Soi Dog after being hit by a car. My owner died recently and I was left to fend for myself. I was so sad after my owner died and I really didn’t know how to look after myself and the local dogs were bullying me. Thankfully after my accident I was brought to the shelter by a lovely person named Khun Pramote.

I was in pretty bad shape when I first arrived at the clinic. I was having trouble walking and the vets also had to operate on me for a lump they found in my uterus. After my surgery, I didn’t feel very good and I wasn’t interested in my food. I am pleased to say though that after some good rest I started to feel better and was eating again.

I was recently moved from the clinic into the treatment runs to finish my recovery and I am feeling much happier. Raymond came to take some photos of me the other day and I was so happy to have a visitor. Raymond told me he could tell I was feeling much better and that I looked a lot happier than last time he took photos of me. I hear I am soon to move into the main runs where I will make some new friends. I am very excited about that.

I really want to say thank you again to the members of the Emergency Response Team. Without their help, I don’t know if I would have made it on the streets, especially after my accident. I am happy to be looked after at Soi Dog and who knows, maybe one day I will get a new owner and a new home? If you would like to help dogs like me who have no one to turn to, please join the emergency response team today. You can join by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
