Dog Comes In After Khun Jaroon Finds Him With A Bleeding Mouth

Khun Jaroon was recently on the lookout for animals in need of help when he noticed Dexter at a local temple, who was bleeding from his mouth. Khun Jaroon brought Dexter straight to the shelter where Dr Sai examined his mouth as soon as he arrived.

Poor Dexter�s mouth is in terrible shape, with several teeth missing, ulcers, dental plaque and terrible bad breath. The number of problems that have been seen with Dexter�s mouth would suggest that this dog would have had a very hard time eating and perhaps in the long term this would have affected his chances of survival.

Dexter is an old dog, around 10 years of age, and is suffering a number of other health problems including kidney problems, blood parasites and anaemia. He is also limping and having trouble walking.

Dexter has undergone a full dental, which will hope will soon provide him some relief. He is also being treated for his other problems. Dexter is no way out of the woods as yet, especially considering his age, and will remain under the close eye of the vets.
