Justice Was Hoping To Be Adopted Before Leaving The Puppy Run

Hi, its Justice here, do you remember me? If not, you can read my story by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.620541757987563.1073742384.108625789179165&type=1

I have been at Soi Dog for about 4 months now, more than half my life so far. I was dumped on the bridge that separates Phuket from the mainland in Thailand. It was so scary but I was lucky that I was found and brought to Soi Dog before I got hit by a car or a truck. I had many health problems when I arrived at Soi Dog – blood parasites and anaemia and I was malnourished and dehydrated. The vets made me feel better pretty quickly though and I will always be grateful to them.

I lived in the puppy run after I got out of the clinic. While I was in the puppy run, I saw many of my friends get adopted. I do like it here at Soi Dog, but I couldn’t help but wish I was being adopted too. I hear it’s lovely to be adopted because you get to go home with a family who will love you and look after you.

I thought my turn had come the other day when I was told I was leaving the puppy run. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to meet my new family. Unfortunately that wasn’t to be. I was then told I was moving to the B3 run with some of the bigger dogs. I was still looking forward to making some new friends, but I couldn’t help being a bit disappointed as I really wanted it to be the day I met my new family.

I have not given up hope though. I just know the perfect family for me is out there waiting to meet me. Perhaps my new best friend may be you? If you would like to give me a home please visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-costs/ to find out more about adopting a dog from Thailand. If you decide you would like to adopt me and want to start organising to bring me to your home, please email the adoptions coordinator at paula@soidog.org
