This is an update on the case of the Cheras dog, Sammy, who was rescued by Ho Wai Sam and Andy Koh.

There was an appeal for rescue aid and later, financial aid for Sammy's medical needs, both of which we publicised. AnimalCare has also given a donation as a medical subsidy for Sammy's treatment.
We have a special message to you.. from Sammy boy! (of course, it is actually written by Andy from PetFinder)
***************************************************************************** Hellooo... this is Sammy boy here, with the HUGE maggot wound! Thank you so much for all your kind donations and giving me a second chance in life.
I am recovering well, thanks to Dr.Edmund's professional and loving care. They took me off the IV drips today, and I tell ya, I have a healthy appetite although I am skin and bones for now! The blood tests assured that I am in fine condition, although some items are slightly irregular due to my wound condition and malnourishment, but it's nothing to worry about.
Dr.Edmund has cleared my wound of maggots, and made a hole at the side of my neck for the pus to easily flow out. The wound is still a large gaping red hole ( that's what the humans say, since I can never see it myself =P )
Ivy, Sam and Andy paid me a visit today, and they even brought me chicken essence (which I slurped up deliciously in like 1 minute), yummy Jerhigh bacon strips and even a little raw hide to past my idle time (which is 99% of my time, besides the few minutes I spend peeing).
I'll be boarded at Dr.Edmund's place for a couple weeks as it is more convenient for him to clean and take care of my wound. I'll behave myself and be a good boy, so I can recover soon and find a loving family!
Sorry, I gotta go chew my raw hide now. Watch out for my updates soon, over and out! *Woof*
Regards, Sammy Boy.
Sammy, you are certainly one lucky boy!
Get well soon!
