Cherokee Recovers From Dog Attack And Shows Us His Loveable Side

Hi, my name is Cherokee. If you are not familiar with my story, you can read it at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.668463676528704.1073742678.108625789179165&type=3

I am only five weeks old now, coming into the shelter at about four weeks of age after being attacked by a dog and getting a bad wound on my tummy. Lucky for me, Khun Aranya, who owns the dog, saw what happened to me and rushed me to the Soi Dog clinic.

The vets were really kind to me and sewed the wound on my tummy up straight away. I had to spend some time resting in the cat hospital room, but I am pleased to say I have now been moved to the cat suite with some of the other cats. They are all bigger than me, but thankfully they have come to accept me. I think they were jealous at first because I am so cute.

I really like when volunteers come into the cat suite as it usually means cuddles for me. I really like cuddles and if the volunteers put me down, I cry to be picked up again. I really do have them wrapped around my tiny little paw with my cuteness.

I have been told that it’s only because of members of a special club called Phi’s Cat Care Club, that Soi Dog is able to help cats like me. If you would like to help provide cats in need with emergency treatment, housing and food, please join Phi’s Cat Care Club today. This can be done by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/sponsor-a-cat/
