We named him Runner, They failed several times in a week trying to get a hold of Runner but they never gave up. With their determination, teamwork and their love for animals, they managed to rescue Runner and brought him for medical treatment. We would like to say our thanks to those who had shared and answered our plea for Runner�s rescue mission.

He needed amputation for his hind leg as the muscles and bones were severely damaged, which is the fastest way to relieve him from his pain.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
