The Farmers� Market is held from 9am to 2pm at The Pantry at Loewen Gardens (near Dempsey). The main idea behind the Farmers� Market is to capture a piece of home � the simple pleasure of people chatting about food and being passionate about produce. Find gourmet meats, wines, organic vegetables, cheeses, breads, and homemade baked goods. Pop in for cooking demonstrations and a wine talk in The Pantry Cooking School. The Markets are held on the first and third Saturday of each month.

This Saturday (15th of March 2014), ACRES is proud to be invited to set up booth, and spread our message of animal welfare. Be there to show us your support, and grab some local produce at the same time!!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
