The pigeon featured here is the Common Pigeon, or Rock Pigeon. It is an extremely misunderstood animal in Singapore, and are considered by most to be pests. Here at ACRES, we do receive calls regarding injured birds from time to time, and will try our best to help them.

If we take a step back and look at these animals carefully, you would be surprised at just how beautiful nature is. One should always take time out to admire colours as well as form, and how nature seems to put everything together so nicely. When we are able to do that, then co-existence may not be such a far fetched idea after all.

ACRES will still do the good work that we do, but we also would need donations from the public and our supporters, to keep us going. So if you have a mere half an hour this weekend, step outside and admire nature for a bit. You never know what you might discover, or what new insights might hit you!
