Petey Comes To The Clinic With A Tumour And Maggot Infested Wound

Petey was brought into the Soi Dog shelter by Khun Nan, who has been feeding dogs at a temple in Phang Nga, just north of Phuket. Petey is suffering from a number of health problems including a tumour on her lower breast, a maggot infested wound on her back leg, anaemia and she is overweight.

The vets have been working hard to treat her maggot infested wound and the vets will now decide the best course of treatment for her tumour. The vets will be keeping a close eye on Petey to ensure that her wound does not become infected and she will also be treated for her anaemia.

Petey will require ongoing treatment to get her fit and healthy once more. Only you can help us treat Petey and the many other sick and injured dogs and cats that come to the Soi Dog clinic every day. By becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team you can help to ensure dogs like Petey get the treatment they need.
