Winonas Wounds Have Almost Fully Healed

Hi, my name is Winona. If you havent already met me, you can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.658429574198781.1073742617.108625789179165&type=3

When Khun Jaroon picked me up in Nai Yang Beach, I was in a terrible state. I had lots of wounds on my body and a very high temperature. I wish I could tell you what happened to me, but for some reason I have blocked the memories out. I was in so much pain and so scared, but I knew I desperately needed help.

When I arrived at the Soi Dog clinic I was given lots of medicine to help me feel better. The vets were worried that I might have a blood infection, but thankfully the medicine given to me stopped me getting any sicker and after some time I started to improve. The vets also cleaned my wounds every day and as you can see from the photos, they are almost fully healed. The next thing I need to do is put on some weight, but with all the yummy food I am being fed I am sure this will happen in no time at all.

I am so pleased that Khun Jaroon found me and brought me to the Soi Dog clinic. I am now feeling more positive about my future. Thank you so much to everyone who has been taking care of me at Soi Dog, but also to the members of the Emergency Response Team. I have been told that members of this team ensure that Soi Dog is able to help dogs and cats like me, who have nowhere else to turn. If you would like to be a member of this team to help animals in need, please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html to join today.
