Suzzie was taken in for an x-ray check last week. There are still some gaps in between her bones but the good news is, they are fusing back with the help of the 2 pins.
As Suzzie gets stronger each week, the Macaque Team implemented changes into her ‘home’. New puzzle feeders were given and she has been utilizing them well. The branches have also been raised higher to allow her to climb and stretch her muscles better. Interestingly, now that the branches have been raised, it gave an added ’2 storey’ dimension feel for her. Suzzie was also seen taking her afternoon nap on the branch!
We thank our wonderful volunteers and the wildlife rescue team for contributing enrichment devices, branches as well as Suzzie’s supply of food daily. As we work together towards her release, we are ensuring that she gets proper care physically and mentally and most importantly, ensuring she still remains wild!
