SKYROCKETING PRICES & FEAR IN UKRAINE

Help With Dog Food

We’ve just sent financial support to FRIEND shelter in Dneproperovsk, Ukraine. The shelter’s founder Marina reports that the situation is dire with dramatically escalating prices for food and daily LIMITS on how much they can withdraw from their bank account to buy the food. They are under tremendous stress and truly afraid.

Marina says she’s often criticized for caring for the animals because humans are suffering too. “But the pain of the animal is as strong as the human pain” she explains.

While all of us hope to see this crisis de-escalate soon, for now we have to do what we can to safeguard the animals in whatever ways we can.
