The Battle Continues For Axel

Hi, its Axel here. If you havent heard of me, you can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.642476839127388.1073742498.108625789179165&type=3&uploaded=4

Sorry I havent been by to say hello for a while, but there really hasnt been a lot of progress to report. I am still staying in the clinic and have not been feeling any better lately. I have my ups and downs, some days I feel ok and other days I do not want to eat and drink and the vets need to put me on a drip to hydrate me. The problem is that there is nothing specific wrong with me except that I am an old dog.

I am still exercising most days and the other day one of the puppies was trying to play with me when we were out in the yard. I tried to tell the silly puppy that I was old and didnt want to play but he wouldnt leave me alone. It was a bit annoying but it was also nice to have the company. In all honesty, I think I have forgotten what fun it can be to play.

I am hoping that someday I will feel well enough to go and live in one of the runs with the other dogs, but even if this doesnt happen I am grateful to be spending whatever time I have left in life at Soi Dog Foundation where I have the best vet care, a comfortable place to sleep and lots of food when I am hungry.

Soi Dog Foundation are only able to help dogs like me because of generous supporters. If you would like to help dogs and cats in need, you can do so by joining the Emergency Response Team at https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
