Droopy Commences Chemotherapy For Her Tumours

Hi everybody, the names Droopy. If you dont know who I am, you can read my story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.650156761692729.1073742557.108625789179165&type=3

Unfortunately, my treatment continues for my tumours. I came to Soi Dog when animal rescue officer Khun Sanae found me with tumours all over my body, caused by a contagious disease called transmissible venereal tumour (TVT). Thanks to the Emergency Response Team (https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html) I have been able to get the extensive treatment I need. I have had one lot of surgery and my wounds are healing well, but unfortunately I developed a few more new small tumours and the vets decided I needed to have chemotherapy. I think this medicine is helping get rid of the tumours, but it makes me feel sick and I have lost my appetite. This means I have lost a bit of weight and the vets are trying to tempt me with yummy treats like boiled eggs, but my stomach cant take much food at the moment.

The vets are still telling me not to lose hope and that they will continue to do their best for me. I promise I will keep you all updated on my progress. Thank you so much Emergency Response Team for helping me. If you are not a member of this team and want to help me and other dogs who need help, please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html today.
