Marmite Is Ok After Eating Rubber But Also Has Skin Problems

Hi, my name is Marmite and I am only a young girl who was found struggling all alone. If you haven’t already read my original story, you can do so at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.657217440986661.1073742609.108625789179165&type=3

At only 6 weeks of age, I found myself all alone and struggling to survive near a rubber plantation. I was so hungry and desperate that I had started eating liquid rubber from the trees. Lucky for me a nice local lady saw this and contacted Soi Dog Foundation for help. Thanks to the supporters that make up the Emergency Response Team (https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html), Khun Jaroon was able to come and get me and rush me to the vets at the clinic.

The vets were worried that the liquid rubber may cause a blockage in my system, however they have now given me the all clear and I have been moved into a kennel in the Puppy run. I also came to Soi Dog Foundation with skin problems, so the vets are now giving me medicine for that.

Although I have skin problems I am feeling a lot better since I came to Soi Dog. It is wonderful being fed proper food and having plenty of water to drink, rather than having to try and survive on liquid rubber. The vets tell me I was lucky to be found when I was because they think I would have had serious problems if I had kept eating the rubber. Thank you to all the members of the Emergency Response Team. Without you help I do not know if I would have been able to survive. If you are not a member but would like to help dogs like me, you can do so by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
