Noah’s Ark CARES is a non-profit organization solely dependent on donors and sponsors for the work it does - reaching out to Singaporeans and addressing the issue of abandoned pets and unwanted strays.
Working in tandem with AVA and other animal welfare organizations, Noah's Ark CARES has embarked on several community-based projects aimed at re-educating the public and our young.
Over the years, Noah’s Ark CARES has helped sterilize and resettle strays and unwanted animals at NANAS. In 2007, it participated in the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Program in Singapore and Malaysia, helping sterilize more than 300 dogs in Singapore alone.
It was again actively involved during the floods in Johore Bahru in January 2007. In the pipeline are several developments including Project Industrial Dogs and Project Catsnip. Both involve the sterilization of strays aimed at promoting animal welfare and ensuring public safety.
In industrial estates where strays run rampant, Noah’s Ark CARES has helped promote and educate industrial owners on the importance of sterilization and licensing of dogs.
That is however not all it does! Noah’s Ark continues to rescue abandoned, neglected and abused dogs and cats as we believe all animals deserve a second chance in life.
The lucky doggies of NANAS; with a home to call their own.
Cared, fed and sterilized, these dogs are spared the endless cycle of needless reproduction.
Happily sheltered from the natural elements.
