Winona Is On The Road To Recovery

Hi, my name is Winona. If you dont already know my story, you can read it at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.658429574198781.1073742617.108625789179165&type=3

I came to the Soi Dog clinic with lots of wounds on me and a very high temperature. I was feeling so terrible when Khun Jaroon picked me up in Nai Yang Beach. I wish I could tell you what happened to me, but I really cant remember. I was in so much pain and feeling terrible that I seem to have blocked out some memories.

When I arrived, Dr Andy was really kind to me. He treated my many wounds and gave me some medicine as he was worried that I might have a blood infection from my wounds. I am happy to say that the medicine helped and I am starting to feel better now. The vets are cleaning my wounds every day and tell me they are healing well. They tell me I need to eat more though as I am very skinny and need to put on some weight. I am doing my best to do everything the vets tell me to do as I do want to make a full recovery.

I would like to say thank you not only to the vets and carers here at Soi Dog, but also to the members of the Emergency Response Team. By becoming a member of this team you can ensure that the animals like me receive the emergency care they need. I am not sure what would have become of me if it wasnt for this team.
