Rudolphina Makes New Friends In The Main Runs

Hi everyone, its me Rudolphina. It has been an interesting couple of months for me, filled with highs and lows. I was found on Christmas Eve, unable to stand with a chain around my neck having escaped where I was tied up. You can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.634688806572858.1073742467.108625789179165&type=1

After I came to Soi Dog, I was starting to feel better and the wound around my neck was healing and I was starting to put on some weight. There was even talk that a lot of people were interested in adopting me. Then one day I started to feel ill and the vets told me I had caught a really bad infectious disease. I had a really runny nose and could not eat and just slept all day long. It took me several weeks to start feeling better and in that time I had to be in my run all by myself to make sure other dogs didnt get sick too. It was a very worrying time for me.

I am now feeling better, but I am also a little bit sad as although there was talk that people wanted to adopt me, no one has come through and said they would like me to live with them. Soi Dog is still trying to get me a home though as they say I would make a lovely companion.

On a positive note, I got to leave the run I was in by myself recently and move into the main runs where I have lots of other dogs for company. First I had a quick check up with the vets and then Khun Pew and Gill walked me over to my new run and introduced me to my new carer Khun Dao. The other dogs were very excited to meet me, I have never been sniffed so much in my life. It was a little overwhelming at first meeting all the new dogs, but I think I am going to like it in my new run. I would still prefer a home of my own though. Do you think you might like to be my new family? For more information on adoptions and costs involved, please visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-costs/. If you are still interested in adopting me after you have read all the information, please fill in a form at http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-questionnaire/ and the adoptions coordinator will get back to you.
