SPCA Selangor is an animal welfare organisation based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless aniamals and to alleviate their suffering. We receive more than 700 unwanted, humane education, assistance to community animal caregivers and run a dedicated, low-cost spay/ neuter clinic. We also lobby the Government and local municipals for humane treatment of animals and harsher penalties for perpetrators of crimes against animals, Founded in 1958, SPCA is a well-respected and trusted Non-Profit Organisation. Over the years, the organisation has gained tremendous goodwill, recognition and support from animal lovers all over Malaysia.

1.0 Finance & Accounts Executive

1.1 Responsibilities

-��������� Able to set and implement accounting policies, procedures, guidelines and controls

-��������� Able to handle full set of accounts using MYOB system

-��������� Will also handle staff payroll records

-��������� Able to organise and prepare timely and accurate financial reports, management accounts and relevant schedules for Committee and Statutory analysis

-��������� Monitory petty cash accounts and cash/cheques collections ensuring timely bank-ins

-��������� Supervise accounts staff

-��������� Assist office admin and must be organised, detail-oriented and able to multi-task

1.2 Requirements

-��������� Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

-��������� Required skills(s): have knowledge and proficient in MYOB accounting system, must have a heart for the animals, Able to work shifts (Saturday and/or Sundays)

-��������� Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese (optional)

-��������� At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

-��������� Applicants must be willing to work in Ampang Jaya/Jalan Kolam Air Lama.

2.0 Accounts cum Administrative Assistant

2.1 Responsibilities

-��������� Able to handle full set of accounts and familiar with MYOB Accounting system

-��������� Able to perform timely bank reconciliations and prepare schedules

-��������� Able to accurately input data and proper upkeep of accounting records

-��������� Organised and timely filing of all accounting and related documents

-��������� Timely issuance of ORs for collections/donations

-��������� Timely preparation of all payments

2.2 Requirements

-��������� Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent. Will consider candidates with working experience.

-��������� Required skills(s): proficient in MYOB accounting system, matured and have good communication skills, able to work with minimum supervision, able to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays (shifts) is an advantage, Have a heart for animals.

-��������� Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English

-��������� At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

-��������� Applicants must be willing to work in Ampang Jaya around Jalan Kolam Air Lama.
