Friggia, Rescued Dog For Adoption (Zaimah Zaim�s)

My name is Zaimah Zaim. My sister (Hidayah) and I found Frigga outside our house in the Melawati area on 15th Feb 2014, almost evening, taking shelter under the car. She looked lethargic, and ate up the two cans of cat food (sorry, that’s all we had!) we gave her. Upon closer inspection we realized why she was so sickly: there were a few wounds on her bottom half, rather large and caved in with a fly taking a break in there. It was a Saturday evening, so the only vet we knew would still be open was Animal Medical Centre Jln Tun Razak.

The vet took a closer look, and found two pen-sized holes that were rather deep, on top of the bigger wound on her right hind side.

Apart from the wounds, she was anaemic and even had maggot wounds in one of her ears. The docs sewed up her wounds a few days ago, and we’re supposed to take her in tomorrow. As we’re still staying with our parents, it’s a bit difficult to have our own way and keep her with us permanently. We have 3 other cats at home, and getting a dog would really be testing their patience. Hopefully we can nurse her back to health so that she can find a permanent loving home. We’re trying to advertise for adopters wherever possible, but on our facebooks/the usual sites alone we wouldn’t be able to get much traffic for this gracious lady. We’re hoping that you could help to put her up on your site for any potential adopter who wants a bright, spirited and friendly doggie as a companion. Frigga is about 3 years old. We’re trying to raise some funds on facebook to cover some of her medical bills (about RM2.5k). Once she’s better, we’ll arrange for her to be neutered and vaccinated. She’s negative for distemper and parvo. We would really appreciate it if you could help advertise Frigga for adoption. Thank you!
