Vets Continue Providing Treatment To Taurus Eye

Hi, my name is Taurus. If you have not heard of me before, you can find out more about me by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.651342484907490.1073742564.108625789179165&type=3

Life has been very hard for me lately. I was dumped by the family I loved and then a horrible person attacked me and stabbed me in my eyes. I have no idea why this happened to me and the pain I felt can only be described as horrendous. I was about to give up all hope when a kind man named Khun Thep arrived at the temple where I was living and brought me to the clinic at Soi Dog Foundation.

Thanks to something called the Emergency Response Team (https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html) I was seen immediately by a vet. Unfortunately it was too late for one of my eyes to be saved, but the vets have been working very hard to try and save the sight in my remaining eye.

To help me hopefully see again in my remaining eye, the vets have performed a procedure on me called an eye lift. They are now seeing me every day to monitor the stitches from this procedure, to put eye drops in and to make sure my eye does not get infected. I really dont like seeing the vets but I know they are only trying to help me. Unfortunately I may need to have another eye lift procedure, but I will keep you up to date on if that happens.

Thank you to the members of the Emergency Response Team for helping to look after me. If you are not a member of this team, you can join today so more dogs like me can get the urgent treatment they need by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
