Mother Cat Having Trouble Giving Birth Requires Intervention

Mother cat Lita was found on the street by a lovely person named Khun Dao who noticed that she was in distress with a kitten stuck in her birth canal. Unfortunately the kitten stuck in the birth canal had passed away and Lita’s second kitten was born by emergency caesarean.

We are unsure of the sex of Lita’s kitten, who we have named Lepus, and will have to wait until he or she is a little older. Luckily, despite the trauma Lita has gone through, she has been able to produce milk and we will leave her to raise young Lepus, obviously under the watchful eye of Soi Dog vets.
