Australian Volunteers Hold A Highway Collection And Raise $3755

On Saturday 15th February, Soi Dog Australia held a highway collection to raise money to help the dogs and cats of Thailand. Thanks to dedicated volunteers a massive $2155 was collected from motorists. This combined with an additional $1000 donation from Central Wealth in Melbourne and $600 from Ryan Road Child Care Centre in Pakenham, a grand total of $3755 was raised!
Volunteers didn’t stop there though! In the wake of devastating bushfires last week in the Australian state of Victoria, volunteers collected money for a further two hours. The money collected during this additional two hours was donated to a wildlife shelter, caring for native wildlife injured as a result of these horrific fires.
Well done to all the dedicated volunteers from Soi Dog Australia. You truly are making a difference to the lives of many animals.
