Rover Has His Stitches Removed And Moves Out Of The Clinic

I am happy to tell you that things are starting to improve for me. I was recently attacked by a man with a knife and ended up with a horrible wound on my shoulder. I was so scared and when people tried to help me I would running away as I thought they were going to hurt me too. Eventually, I ended up in someone�s yard and they rang Soi Dog to come and get me and I was taken to the clinic for treatment.

When we arrived at Soi Dog, a person called a vet looked after me sewed up the wound on my shoulder as they said it wouldn�t be able to heal on its own. The vet told me that Soi Dog was able to help me because of the Emergency Response Team (https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html), which made it possible for Soi Dog to send someone to get me and for me to get the vet treatment that I needed.

The good news is that I had the stitches taken out the other day and I have now been moved to the medical treatment runs. This is much nicer than being in the clinic as these runs are outside and I can see what�s happening and enjoy the fresh air. The vets still come and visit me here to make sure my wound keeps healing and that it doesn�t get infected.

I know I keep saying it, but I really am so grateful that people helped me and I really hope over time I can learn to like and trust humans again.
