With the snow outside deep enough to easily swallow these little ones, we’re so thankful to witness the comfort of these former street cats who are now living at a Harmony Fund sponsored barn sanctuary.
“I’ll never forget the day I found them on the grounds of an auto body shop,” Harmony Fund Founder Laura Simpson says. “The wind was bitterly cold and they were just sitting in a wet parking lot, waiting for food from employees who sometimes fed them during the week. But on the weekends, those meals never came. I was in tears as I poured food down and watched them all come running. My eight year old daughter Sabrina, helped open can after can of wet food, even as her little fingers were freezing. It broke my heart to see them that way, and I am deeply relieved to know they are all safe now. Can’t wait to see them climbing in their outdoor area and enjoying sun baths in the spring.”
