Olivia Recovers From Surgery For A Tumour

I was unlucky recently as I was hit by a car and had a broken leg which required surgery. That was very painful and at my age (10), it was a lot to handle. My leg seems to have recovered well, but the vets here at Soi Dog Foundation recently gave me another operation because they said I had a tumour that needed to be removed. I really didn�t want to have more surgery, but Dr Su convinced me that it was for the best and that it would make me feel better in the long run.

I am so glad that the surgery is over now and I am pleased to say my wound is healing nicely. I had to have quite a few stitches and am still a little bit tender, but it is so nice not to have this horrible tumour anymore. The vets check on me every day to make sure my wound doesn�t get infected and they have now moved me out of the clinic and into the treatment runs, where I have the company of other dogs and can enjoy the fresh air.
