Eye Removal Required For Cat With Awful Injuries
Tweet |
Tyson came to the shelter for a routine sterilisation from a local temple, but vets noticed he had an injured bulging eye. Unfortunately Tyson had lost any vision in his eye and the decision was made to remove the eye to save him from unnecessary pain.
Tyson recently underwent surgery performed by Dr Eed. He is now recovering in the cat hospital and having his wound checked daily to ensure he does not end up with an infection. Tyson is also suffering from a serious skin infection and will continue to receive treatment for this. We will keep you up to date on how Tyson recovers from his surgery and how the treatment of his skin condition is progressing. Tyson also underwent another quick procedure while he was anaesthetised, but we are hoping he may not notice that he is missing something from the other end of his body!
