Mojo Jojo Is On The Mend From Horrific Facial Wound

Hi, my name is Mojo Jojo. You can read my original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.653340181374387.1073742578.108625789179165&type=3

I came to Soi Dog after animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon came looking for after the hotel near where I was living had reported that I had a “rotten face”. My face wasn’t actually rotten, but I did have a bad wound which was bleeding a lot. It turns out this wound was caused by mange and mites and because I was scratching so much I had made it worse and made it bleed.

I am being well looked after here at Soi Dog and the vets continue to treat the wound on my face and they are giving me medicine for blood parasites. I am starting to feel a bit better now and the wound on my head is not bleeding anymore, but it is scabby instead. The vets tell me that is a good thing and that it means it is starting to heal. I have now been moved from the clinic into the treatment runs which is a bit more interesting as I can see what’s happening outside and can enjoy the fresh air.

I still have a way to go before I am fully recovered and I am so grateful to Soi Dog and the members of the Emergency Response Team for helping me. Thanks to members of this team, Soi Dog can treat lots of dogs like me who need help and even cats too!
