Soi Dog Works With The Local Community To Sterilise Street Cats

Soi Dog Foundation was contacted recently by a local resident from a group called Phuket Help Cats. It was reported that there was a presence of a number of street cats requiring sterilisation. With the help of volunteers from Phuket Help Cats, animal rescue officer Khun Sanae distributed cat traps to the area to prepare for a mobile sterilisation clinic at Wat Luang San, a local temple. Animal rescue officers also told local residents to bring their cats to the mobile clinic for free sterilisations. With the help of a donation from Phuket Help Cats, 80 cats were sterilised which in turn prevents the birth of more unwanted cats and any suffering they may face. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day.
