Beth�s Awful Skin Condition Starts To Improve

I came to the Soi Dog shelter from just down the road at Mai Khao. I could almost have walked there myself if I had known they would help me. I had the most horrible, itchy skin. I swear, I almost wanted to rip my skin off, but I knew that wouldn�t help me. It turns out that I had really bad ticks that were causing the itching. Dr Greg has now treated me for these and I am starting to feel a whole lot better, although I still have lots of scabs and need to grow back lots of my hair.

Dr Greg has also been treating me for my swollen intestines and anaemia. I must say, even though I don�t like the medicine he gives me, it really does make me feel so much better. It�s also pretty cool staying here in the clinic as they give me really tasty meals. No complaints from me in that department!

Dr Greg tells me that I was only able to get treated at Soi Dog thanks to the wonderful people who are part of the Emergency Response Team. I really wish I knew who they were so I could thank them. I wish more people would join this team though so that lots of other dogs (and cats, I suppose!) can get the treatment they need.
