San Francisco based Thai-American artist, Nalyne Lunati, raised over of $5,400 for Soi Dog Foundation in 2013 during the months of October and December, 2013. She learned about Soi Dog in June of 2013 and started by sponsoring a dog and joining the Magic 1,000 Club that helps fed thousands of dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade.
Nalyne just lost her mother to a stroke, at the age of 67, on May 17, 2013 and to honor her the artist hosted a combo charity event at her art school, Avant-Garde Art Studio.
The artist is determined and committed to helping Soi Dog Foundation end the cycle of cruelty. Therefore, her fundraising continues in Challenge the World, Soi Dog’s initiative with her Jewelry Challenge and/or Canine Care Challenge.
She is now planning to do a Soi Dog painting workshop on March 23rd. They will paint the canine and feline residents of Soi Dog and you can join her efforts in the Bay Area by visiting the following links. Thank you Nalyne !!!
