Updates On 7th Feb 2014

AWRC welcomes a very special visitor today. Mark, a seven year old boy who loves animals has decided that he wants to donate the red packets he collected for his birthday to an animal charity organization and this little boy chose ACRES.

He was brought around on an educational tour around AWRC. We shared with Mark that the money he has donated will bring help to the animals he has visited in the Outdoor Sanctuary, more enrichment, food, medical care and Mark got exhilarated!

At such young tender age, he has made a choice to take a step forward to helping animals!

We would like to say a big thank you to Eileen and Mark. And we look forward to their next visit, this time round with Mark’s twin sister coming along!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
