Lindsey Tolerates Injections From Dr Greg Hoping For Recovery

Hi, my name is Lindsey and I have had a pretty tough time of things lately. If you would like to read my original story, you can do so by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.646651872043218.1073742531.108625789179165&type=3

I was picked up for sterilisation and thankfully the vet who was going to do the operation noticed I was feeling sick. I had so many things wrong with me and felt terrible. I was having trouble finding food and because of this am very skinny and I had runny eyes and itchy scabs all over my body.

Since I arrived at the shelter, Dr Greg has been looking after me. He has been giving me needles which I really hate, but he says I need my medicine if I am going to feel better. I have to take antibiotics for a chest infection and to kill the horrible blood parasites I have, but I am slowly feeling a little better. That may be due to the food I am now being given and also because my skin isn’t as itchy anymore. I wish Dr Greg didn’t have to do all these things to me, but I know he is just trying to help.

I am grateful that I was brought to Soi Dog to be cared for, as I was nearly ready to give up on the streets. I have heard that they can only help me because of people like you who have joined the Emergency Response Team. Thank you to all the kind people out there who have made my treatment possible. If you would like to find out more about this team or would like to can sign up to join please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
